Brisbane Leather Pride Festival 2011
Whilst the mercury may read different, the temperature is sure to rise in late August as Bootco presents Leather Pride Festival 2011. This year spanning over two weeks, with members and guests asking for a longer period over which to celebrate in leather sexuality & inclusive of events such as Corium Dance Party + Mr Qld Leather Competition through to Movie Nights & Dark Arts Exhibition.
As the Community Partner of Leather Pride Festival 2011, Healthy Communities is committed to supporting community groups and organisations promoting safer sexual practice & sexual health. This includes Groups such as Bootco, which celebrate the myriad ways in which Gay Leather and BDSM can safely enhance and expand men‟s sexual and sensual lives.

Saturday August 27: Workshops
The workshops are run by highly experienced presenters in a safe and confidential environment. Last year's workshops received rave reviews
from participants. The presenters from Tighter N Harder address adventurous sexual practice, safety, skills and down-to-earth fun in a
friendly and engaging manner. The workshop cost includes workbooks and
other materials.
We welcome single men as well as couples, but prior booking is essential because both workshops last year sold out within two weeks of the
ticketing going live online.
Morning: Basic Bondage and Ropework
Afternoon: Intermediate Bondage

Sensational spit roast including jacket potatoes, selection of vegetables and salads, dessert, coffee and the birthday cake. Wine included in the
price. Be treated to an erotic reading during dinner, video slide show, cutting the birthday cake, signing the key. And of course a good gathering
of lusty men hell bent on feasting.

Wednesday August 31: My Favourite Things
The title is the only thing straight and mainstream about this session
This is for men to bring their favourite toy, piece of equipment or object that turns them on. It's an off-beat 'show and tell'. It's funny, informative,
hosted by one of our experienced leather men and is designed to let you find out what 'grabs' others. You might find out some things you really
wanted to know too.
So bring your favourite thing (or a photo if the sling-equipped stretch Hummer won't fit in the meeting room) and come prepared for a lively
discussion. This is a great way to have a sip of what the workshops had in store and we encourage your participation.

Saturday September 03: CORIUM2011
This is the men's leather dance party of the year and the hot ticket of the festival.
The two non-stop dance floors upstairs from 9pm will pump to the beats of our team - DJ Master Sergeant, DJ Fradge and
DJ Magnus - joined by Sydney's DJ Ben Drayton (of Inquisition, Bad Dog and Mardi Gras fame). There's a chill out space downstairs to help you through the continuous live entertainment that includes the Mr Queensland Leather Competition final, Best Leather Boy, Best
Leather Bear, singers, dancers, performance art. Guaranteed dragfree!

Sunday September 04: The After Party - CORIUM2011
Just when you thought you'd had enough..... DJ Master Sergeant will disappear from the CORIUM2011 party to start pumping up a hot party
in BootCo's long term home, the Mineshaft Bar.
Dark and dirty tunes to go with your late/early drinks.
Beware the 3.00am lockout. You need to be inside the After Party before 3.00am.
