Sexual Health: Condom Competition

Condom Competition

Brief: To promote the use of condoms for sex.

Condoms are the main way of preventing HIV transmission. However the use of condoms among gay men has been declining over the years. In the 80s gay men assumed everyone could have HIV and used condoms every time. Now many men only use condoms if they have a specific reason to, which often involves making assumptions about their partners. This decrease in condom use is leading to more HIV infections.

This competition's aim was to help re-create a culture of condom use.
