We know that there is some prejudice and discrimination in the gay, lesbian, bi and transgender community, coming from other LGBT people.  And we can safely predict what some of it will be based on, or the people it will be aimed at.  We are talking about ethnicity and culture, gender, age and HIV/AIDS status. But what about your religion?  Or the fact that you are gay or lesbian and have kids?  Can you be discriminated against because you don't fit the idea of what a gay, lesbian or transgender person should look like, or act like?  Or because you don't often go out on the scene? Please tell us your stories about what you have experienced. Have you ever been discriminated against because of who you are?  How do you deal with this? Here you can share both the stories about things that upset you, but also any stories about good things.  Did people come to your aid when you were discriminated against?  Do you or someone you know work hard to prevent this type of prejudice from happening?
