This year's National Hepatitis Awareness Week is fast approaching, beginning May 19th. The theme this year is 'Am I Number 12?' and will be launched internationally on May 19th.  'Am I Number 12?' relates to the statistic that 1 in 12 people in the world have hepatitis B or C and the Hepatitis Council of Queensland has funded several community organisations to run activities throughout the state as well as holding a large

 New Farm Park 12pm -  3pm In collaboration with several agencies in Brisbane For more information about NAW contact Kelly Harper, NAW  Project Coordinator at Kelly@hepqld.asn.au or come along to our NAW  Reference Group 24th April 3pm - 4pm  at the Hepatitis Council of Qld This group will coordinate activities in the Brisbane region. For people outside of Brisbane just ask Kelly to put you on the wider Qld reference group to receive updates on NAW; statistics; event info and media packs as the week approaches.  There is a growing list of national activities that can be seen by going to www.hepatitisaustralia.com .
