This year we ran in two new centres; Toowoomba and Hervey Bay and our thanks to those new community members who supported us at these screenings and all the others that ran across Queensland. We are pleased to say there appears to have been an increase in festival attendees with tickets up by over 30%. This year we had a huge programme of high quality films and consideration is being given to a festival award for most popular screening. If you'd like to be involved behind the scenes; or want to know when next year's will occur, please talk to your local QAHC staff member. Presented by QAHC, in partnership with Melbourne Queer Film Festival; the Tropical Alternatives Film Festival will continue to screen LGBT themed films in regional centres across Queensland Tropical Alternatives Film Festival could not occur without the support of QAHC’s Healthy Communities Fund (HCF) and our festival partners and we thank them for their support. We hope you enjoyed this year's programme as much as we did. See you next year.
